Eran Ganot is a basketball coach who currently serves as the head coach for the University of Hawaii men's basketball team. He was born on July 5, 1981 in Tel Aviv, Israel and grew up playing basketball in his home country before moving to the United States to attend college.
Ganot began his coaching career as an assistant at Saint Mary's College in California before landing a job as an assistant coach at the University of Hawaii in 2006. He then went on to work as an assistant coach at San Francisco and Marquette before returning to Hawaii as the head coach in 2015.
Under Ganot's leadership, the Hawaii men's basketball team has seen success on and off the court, including winning the Big West Conference Tournament in 2016 and earning a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Ganot is known for his emphasis on player development, discipline, and teamwork, and has earned praise for his coaching acumen and leadership abilities.
